How Do I Stop The Calls?
Short of unplugging the phone this can be a difficult and consuming problem.
If the calls are coming from your lender, you may be able to curtail the calls by listing your home for sale with a Real Estate Broker.
When the Lender sees that you are marketing the property for sale they will usually leave you alone to make the sale happen.
You can make a written request that your lender no longer call you and send any communication in writing by mail.
If your home is upside down, owe more than it is worth, I suggest you go to the upside down page and review your options with a Real Estate Attorney and a CPA. There are future implications and knowing your options is a great start.
