If you cannot afford it, you need to rethink your options.

Renting out the home may be an option.

Roommates may also be an option.

You can try to do a Loan modification if you have income.

If you can not make your payments and if your loan modification does not go through and you can not rent your property or some rooms,....

You need to realize if you can not afford the property, you can not keep it.

Foreclosure is not usually the best option.
